We believe that in today's world, the wrong people get highlighted. We are looking to highlight everyday people who are living their lives in faithful ways. If you know someone who would be good for us to highlight, send us an email and let us know.
Meet Frank
Frank lives in Dixhill, New York and is a member of St. Matthew's parish. Here is his story.
"About four years ago, I wanted to somehow help spread the practice of saying a daily Rosary to all the uninitiated out there, including Catholics. My first thought was to have free packets of rosaries with instructions at soup kitchens and places like that. But I figured that would be too time consuming for me to pull off. So, considering the any Catholics that don't even know the simple basics of the faith, I decided to stay closer to home.
I assembled a packet that contains the following:
- A plastic rosary
- Instructions on how to say the rosary
- A card stating "I said a prayer for your today"
- The St. Michael's prayer
The pastor allowed me to put them in the Church. So, I made up a nice blue box to hold them. Every time I'm at Church, I fill up the box with the packets.
So far I've given out about 1,500+ packets. I will continue doing this for as long as I can. I'm 75 years old now, hopefully I can introduce a lot more people to the rosary."
